Who We Are
Out of Psalm 37 has come our hope and prayer over the women of Terrace Lake. That we would…
…”TRUST in the Lord and do good” — rely on Him alone for our salvation and bring Him glory through any good that comes of our hands. (Ephesians 2:1-10)
…”DELIGHT in the Lord”— through community with God and community with other women. (1 Thessalonians 5:12-22)
…”COMMIT our ways to the Lord” — through sacrificial service not only to Terrace Lake Church but the community as well, dealing graciously with one another (Philippians 2:3-7)
…”BE STILL before the Lord” — valuing scripture as a gift and striving to be independent studiers of God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:14-17) and go to the Lord with every request. (Philippians 4:4-6)
And in doing these things, He is faithful to “make our righteousness SHINE like the dawn”. (NIV) (Matthew 5:14-15) (Exodus 34:29-30)
