Join us for this SWEET night of fellowship! We're excited to share some of our 2021 plans for Shine.
"But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love." Jude 1:20-21
Shine Bible Study

Shine Retreat 2021
Retreats offer a weekend where we can pause from our schedules and create space for refreshment, encouragement and to draw nearer to the God who loves us. This year, retreat will be held in person at church and live-streamed. We will have a worship night on Friday starting at 6:30 with fellowship, coffee, and snacks to follow. You can hang out for as long or as little as you want (but your gonna want to hang out!). We will meet back at church Saturday morning at 8:30 for more worship and hear ladies from our church share on the topic of prayer. Coffee, continental breakfast, box lunch, and snacks will be provided. We will conclude before dinner Saturday evening.
Ladies Night Out - 6:30pm
A fun evening gathering around the fire together.
Bring your camp chairs, favorite mug, and friend, and join us for hot cider, s'mores, and worship. We'll be sharing some of our upcoming plans for Shine too.
We'd love to have you join us in this 5-week study of hope. It's not good for us
to simply get up and trudge through our days or to put a fake smile on our faces and ignore our troubles. The lesson of 1 Peter is to recognize the temporary, look to the eternal and learn to walk faithfully in holiness and hope.
Come and be renewed as we look to the scriptures together!

Who We Are
Out of Pslam 37 has come our hope and prayer over the women of Terrace Lake. That we would…
…”TRUST in the Lord and do good” — rely on Him alone for our salvation and bring Him glory through any good that comes of our hands. (Ephesians 2:1-10)
…”DELIGHT in the Lord”— through community with God and community with other women. (1 Thessalonians 5:12-22)
…”COMMIT our ways to the Lord” — through sacrificial service not only to Terrace Lake Church but the community as well, dealing graciously with one another (Philippians 2:3-7)
…”BE STILL before the Lord” — valuing scripture as a gift and striving to be independent studiers of God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:14-17) and go to the Lord with every request. (Philippians 4:4-6)
And in doing these things, He is faithful to “make our righteousness SHINE like the dawn”. (NIV) (Matthew 5:14-15) (Exodus 34:29-30)
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
