Experience
Vision
Terrace Lake Students
We seek to come alongside middle school and high school students during very formative years of their lives through ongoing discipleship and building relationships with students.
Mission
We accomplish this through large group teaching on Sunday mornings and small group times on Wednesday evenings. Our hope is that all students would be growing deeper in their relationship with God, each other, our leaders, and their family.
Check-in
Head across the Foyer to the double doors at the Terrace Lake Kids entrance. Let the door greeter know that you are visiting and that your student is in Middle School or High School and they will lead you upstairs to our Student Room where they will be checked in.
Our Time Together
RISE | Sunday Morning Gathering
Greeting and Eating
We have breakfast every morning that our students meet (Check out the schedule for those Sundays). Students will have the opportunity to grab a light breakfast and a plethora of drink options. We believe sharing a meal and chatting with students is extremely valuable.
Game Time
We’ll then move into an awesome large-group game, followed by announcements.
Teaching
Then we get started with our lesson for the day.
Finishing Up
Once the student service is set out, your students will then be released to head back downstairs on their own and find you. Sometimes your students are enjoying time upstairs so much that they may be slightly delayed in getting out of there!
Philosophy
We believe that attending worship service together as a family is pivotal in growing stronger bonds between parents and students. Because of this, we do not meet every Sunday morning for RISE. Rather, we meet every other Sunday and strongly encourage students to attend service with you on mornings in which we do not meet. If you’d like to stay up to date about when we are meeting, you and your student(s) can sign up for our Remind texting system.
